Palmetto Plaza: Great Pizza

Jellyfish

The Bay
hobgoblins Says:
Palmetto Avenue runs along Edisto Beach, the popular place to see and be seen in this tiny island community. However, to escape from possible crowds, try the lesser-trafficed beach on the bay. There, you can watch dolphins leap past you throughout the day, while collecting...
Shore Snack "Live off the Land"
WILDEFLOWER Says:
There are a few shore snack for the adventuresome kind. The "Bull Thistle can be eaten if you remove the spines from the stastems. Cut open. Eat raw or add to salads like celery.
Fishing,Crabing Shrimping
There are many inlets that come out of Edisto into the ocean. We saw a lot of people with nets and cages catching shrimp and crabs. The blue crabs are the best eating that aI have had.
Equipment: I think there are places to rent the nets and the crab cages for the day!
