Most summer evenings there is a ball game going on at one of Faulktons' three baseball diamonds. It might be T-ball(6-9yr olds), 14 and unders boys or girls, teeners, or 16 and under, or high school boys or girls.
Dress Code: Misquito spray is usually a must. Since most games are late afternoon or evening, a jacket or umbrella( for the sun) might be helpful.

Several local farmers raise buffalo. Buffalo are not easy to raise. They require very strong fences and can be very easily spooked into running. They can be seen as you drive the country roads. Ask in town and most people can direct you.

Hunting and the great outdoors.
BLSM Says: Faulkton has many places to hunt ring neck pheasants. Hunting is a big deal in South Dakota. There are also many deer hunters that come here to hunt. Many farmers allow hunting with permission. There are several pheasant hunting preserves in the area.
