Joe Foss Field is the main airport in Sioux Falls and home to the F-16s of the South Dakota Air National Guard. Named after famous South Dakota fighter pilot Joe Foss, the airport is served by a few major airlines, including: United, Comair, Northwest, Mesaba, and Allegiant. The airport also hosts many private and charter aircraft, plus some cargo airlines, and hospital flights. Be sure to check out the Joe Foss statue and gift shop when you enter or leave the terminal.

The Interstates are your friend around Sioux Falls, they provide access to just about everything in the city, and access to the rest of the state. One piece of advice though, they are generally well maintained by the DOT in winter, but its a good idea to practice winter driving skills and slow down before venturing out on them.

The trolley system begins in Falls Park and makes a loop through the historic downtown of Sioux Falls. Plenty of parking at the park, so just park and ride. The trolley is modeled on the first electric streetcars of Sioux Falls that ran 1907-1929. The trolley driver is also your tour guide! You can hop off and shop until the next trolley comes too. FREE!
During the summer, the trolley runs about every half hour. In the winter, it's every hour.

This town, situated in eastern South Dakota, has some fine parks and a few other attractions. If you happen to be passing through, and have several hours to stop, it's worthwhile to visit here.
