Although I have never been hang gliding myself, I would love to try it one day if I didn't get too nervous. I hear it is an awesome experience and is very safe. The Lookout Mountain Flight Park has been teaching people to hang glide since 1978 and if I am correct is one of the largest hang gliding schools in the country. They are located in North Georgia on the mountain, about 40 minutes from Chattanooga. I'm sure this would be a great experience for thrill seekers and nature lovers.
