The drivers in Clarksville can be nuts - especially on the "main drag" of 41A/Ft. Campbell Blvd. Clarksville is a military town and the young soldiers love to rip down the 6 lane strip faster than the speed limit of 45 MPH (normal speed is usually about 55 +). Careful at traffic lights -- they are very often ran on red as the light changes. Look before you go thru to make sure everyone is done running it.

Avoid the hotels in the downtown area. Crime is higher there and they also tend to be over priced. The west side of town (next to I-24) there are MANY hotels to chose from and plenty of places to get a meal too.

Be careful; Clarksville drivers - especially on the North side of town - are 99% colorblind. Red lights are nearly inconsequential. If it has just turned red, someone will probably be coming through at any moment.
Just make sure that you pause, look both ways, pause again, look again, and then go. Otherwise, you might end up getting T-Boned.

There are 2 U-haul places in Clarksville. From experience I will ONLY use the one at 2030 Ft Campbell Blvd. It's located at the Transmission Tyme shop on the west side of the road. The owner is polite, professional and plain-ole NICE. Can't say that about the other location.
