Pedestrians in the crossing lanes DO HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY & NOT THE AUTOMOBILES!
THESE CROSS WALKS ARE CLEARLY MARKED & ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PAY ATTENTION & RELIZE HERE YOU NEED TO YIELD TO PEDESTRIANS.

Me and my pumpkins!!

My favorite time of year is fall!!! Gatlinburg has the best harvest fest around. They decorate the town and have hayrides and other great activities. Harvest Fest runs from Sept. 16th through Oct. 31st this year.

Roaring Fork Baptist Church, Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg is in the Bible Belt, and a sizeable percentage of the people who live here are devout Christians. Most of them don't wear their religion on their shoulder, but religious faith is a basic and prevalent influence in the community. There are churches of many denominations in Gatlinburg and the surrounding area, and a high level of acceptance and cooperation is usually seen between members of the different groups.

I have visited and worshiped at several different churches including Roaring Fork Baptist Church, pictured. As in many of the mountain churches, the preaching was simple but heartfelt, and the music included the old hymns as well as generous doses of "Southern Gospel." The churches of Gatlinburg are accustomed to having many visitors in their services and are pleased when you drop in for a service.
