DRIVE. It's easier to navigate around Knoxville than many other cities it's size. Try to avoid rush hour A.M.
Car.BOAT, if your'e lucky enough to own one or rent one like my brother did to make a very memorable sunday cruise for my family .We motored past submerged farm silos and caves and cliffs where black powder and salt-peter were mined.
Bicycle looks like a nice way to see Knoxville as well. Theme: Car/Motor Home

Traveling from the North, continue from I75 to I275 which will take you straight downtown, or take I640, the bypass, to I40 where almost any exit will take you to the local 'strip' - Kingston Pike.

KAT provides regular, fixed route bus service on 25 routes throughout the City of Knoxville and portions of Knox County.
KAT's hours of operation (including Night Rider/ Sunday Rider service) are from 5:30 am until 12:30 a.m., Saturdays from 6:30 am until 12:30 a.m., and Sundays from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.
KAT operates a Trolley service which provides service between the University of Tennessee and downtown- Orange Line (7:00 am to 6:15 pm), service to downtown- Blue Line (5:50 am to 6:20 pm), and service to "The Fort"- Green Line (7:00 am to 6:00 pm). Leave a Comment
