Your trip would not be complete without a visit to the Country Tonite Theatre. We went to the Country Tonite Show one day. Which we never miss on our trip to Pigeon Forge and then took in the Magic Show they have in the morning. The magician Terry is funny and amazing. The theater offers a great shows for the whole family and a great price ecpsecially if you see both shows! Make sure you buy your tickets at the same time because you can save even more money.

  • Address: 129 Showplace Boulevard in Pigeon Forge.
  • Directions: On the main road in Pigeon Forge. The building is up the hill a little bit but you can't miss the sign.

A very nice dinner and show for the family. I've been here twice, once with my family and once with my school. The show is excellent with lots of stunts, singing, and dance. And the food is so delicious!

Ice skate at the year round rink, walk around the little shops that sell taffy and stupid wooden toys, take one of those cheesy 'old time photos' they Also have a Ripleys and the Ultimate theme park which sadly I did not get to go to ..Dollywood. Great place for the traveller with no shame.

  • Go to Dollywood. Its actually a very good theme park. It isn't that crowded so you get to go on most rides with very little queueing

    Go see The Miracle Theater!

This is not some Christmas church play...it's just like a show on the West End or Broadway! Angels soaring overhead and batteling, stars lighting up overhead, trained animals, and first class singing. All the actors/actresses are very talented! Superb voices! And many more special effects.

The show goes through different stages in the bible; from the beginning of the Earth, the fall of Lucifer, birth of Christ, John the Baptist, His first miracle at the wedding, last supper, Judas betrayal, the cruxifiction, and His return.

    Theater Shows Daily :
    Open March Through December
    7:30 P.M. Mon Thru Saturday
    2:00 P.M. Matinees Tuesday, Thursdays, & Saturday

    Ticket Pricing:
    Adult: $38.95
    Child: Free*
    Group Rates Available
(*One Free Child per paying adult)

The also have camel rides in front of the theater and a gift shop.

  • I love Dollywood and have been attending this park regulary since the mid-80's. I've seen it grow by leaps and bounds. In more recent years, ChristmasFest has been an awesome additon. Plus, rides like the Mystery Mine and ThunderHead have given the park some serious street cred with the teen set and coaster enthusiasts.
*Lots of music. A favorite is James Rogers, who returns to the park this '07 summer, with his one-man show at the DP Celebrity Theatre.
*I love ThunderHead, generally considered one of the top 2 wooden coasters in the US.
*Mystery Mine, the latest additon, scared me half to death. I'm still not sure what happened, but I will never get on it again to fill in those blanks. Who knew I had such a filthy vocabulary:) Lots of "hang time" and an 85 ft drop at a 95 ft angle.

    DW Advice:
Get there early OR if you arrive after 3pm, the next day is free...just pick up your pass on the way out. Parking is now $7.
Wear clothes/shoes that dry easy as many rides involve getting wet. Wet jeans or leather sneakers are NOT to comfortable. Also, if you ride the coal train, it lets out ashes than can not only get in your eyes but stain lighter-colored clothing items (it's happened to me).
    The food here is good....
The park is extremely clean and picturesque. Many of the employees are older people and they're very friendly and patient.
