Great fun for smaller kids. Titled Food for the Mind. Though, I thought for adults, it was lacking and it left me wanting a steak while all I got was peas and carrots, it was great fun for the kids!

This is not some Christmas church play...it's just like a show on the West End or Broadway! Angels soaring overhead and batteling, stars lighting up overhead, trained animals, and first class singing. All the actors/actresses are very talented! Superb voices! And many more special effects.
The show goes through different stages in the bible; from the beginning of the Earth, the fall of Lucifer, birth of Christ, John the Baptist, His first miracle at the wedding, last supper, Judas betrayal, the cruxifiction, and His return.

Beautiful area in Pigeon Forge, TN! There are 2 restaurants to choose from! Old Mill Restaurant and the Old Mill Pottery House. THere are many shops such as Old Mill General Store, Old Mill Pigeon River Pottery, Old Mill Farmhouse Kitchen, Old Mill Creamery, Old Mill Toy Bin, Old Mill Candy Kitchen, and more.
Visitors can still watch meal and flour being ground the same way by the huge water powered granite French Buhrs in the mill, or pottery being thrown, or bread and candy being made. It’s a day’s worth or more of delight and wonder.
It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

At Dollywood, you will be entertained with shows and rides. One of my favorite rides is the Smoky Mountain River Rampage. This ride will get you wet ( which could be good on a hot summer day) If you like old wooden roller coasters, then you will have to try The Thunderhead. I have a new favoriate roller coaster now. It is called the Mystery Mine. I won't give anything away, but I have to say, it is awesome!!

I love Dollywood and have been attending this park regulary since the mid-80's. I've seen it grow by leaps and bounds. In more recent years, ChristmasFest has been an awesome additon. Plus, rides like the Mystery Mine and ThunderHead have given the park some serious street cred with the teen set and coaster enthusiasts.
*Lots of music. A favorite is James Rogers, who returns to the park this '07 summer, with his one-man show at the DP Celebrity Theatre.
*I love ThunderHead, generally considered one of the top 2 wooden coasters in the US.
*Mystery Mine, the latest additon, scared me half to death. I'm still not sure what happened, but I will never get on it again to fill in those blanks. Who knew I had such a filthy vocabulary:) Lots of "hang time" and an 85 ft drop at a 95 ft angle.
DW Advice:
Get there early OR if you arrive after 3pm, the next day is free...just pick up your pass on the way out. Parking is now $7.
Wear clothes/shoes that dry easy as many rides involve getting wet. Wet jeans or leather sneakers are NOT to comfortable. Also, if you ride the coal train, it lets out ashes than can not only get in your eyes but stain lighter-colored clothing items (it's happened to me).
The food here is good....
The park is extremely clean and picturesque. Many of the employees are older people and they're very friendly and patient.

Wonderworks is a really cool science museum with several floors of activities. You can relive the 1989 San Francisco Quake and feel what a 5.3 quake feels like, There is an exhibit to feel the strength of hurricane winds, a bed made of nails, a gigantic rock climbing wall, see what your own shadow looks like, make your own rock video, and many more hands on activities. They also offer an Optical Illusion Art Gallery that is included in your price!
For an additional fee they offer Lazer Tag. After you tour the museum they have a dinner and show called Hoot N' Holler which lasts about 2 hours. The comedy is good and they include the audience. The food is okay but not great (So i recommend eating something before you go)
Open 365 days a year 9AM-Midnight. Prices vary depending on age and the combination package that you choose. I enjoyed it but I think that it would be even better if you have children.

Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge hosts many events throughout the year such as craft fairs and concerts. The park is situated in downtown Pigeon Forge on the Little Pigeon River behind the Old Mill Restaurant. There is a long path which can be used for walking, biking and skating. People also walk their dogs here and there are convenient stations to obtain little plastic baggies to clean up after your dog. This is a great place to let the kids get out and stretch their legs and have a picnic. Check the website to see when the park is hosting a seasonal event.

If you go behind the Old Mill restaurant, chances are you will find ducks waiting to be fed. The Old Mill General Store sells duck food for .50 cents a bag, or you can bring some bread. If you come in the Spring, you will probably get to see of bunch of cute fuzzy baby ducks.

We went to the Three Bear Gift Shop and fed the Black Bears. I think it is a must thing to do it was so much fun. Two were sleeping and a really big bear was awake and ready for me to pitch an apple bite to him, he stood up and leaned against the wall and opened his mouth and raised his paw.... and I pitched one right into his mouth. My family just howled, it was really clean and the bears looked huge and their black coats are shiny. We just loved it.

Your trip would not be complete without a visit to the Country Tonite Theatre. We went to the Country Tonite Show one day. Which we never miss on our trip to Pigeon Forge and then took in the Magic Show they have in the morning. The magician Terry is funny and amazing. The theater offers a great shows for the whole family and a great price ecpsecially if you see both shows! Make sure you buy your tickets at the same time because you can save even more money.
