I say Howdy all the time, it sounds weird probably to some, but I say it because Ive lived in some towns where its a super strict tradition, in abilene no one cares but it makes you look cool, also if someone tries to shake your hand then go for it, they want to be your friend.

Abilene has the distinction of having the most number of Christian churches per capita of any city in the world. There are three major Christian Universities here. Abilene has an art festival every spring, and a hot air baloon festival every October, which is second in size only to the one in Albuquerque.
