This museum is either recently renovated or newly constructed. All of the exhibits are in like-new condition. The lower level has hands-on areas for children and adults alike to learn about horses in general and American Quarter horses in particular. The upper level have various memorabilia covering the various association presidents over the years. This area is probably of primary interest to association members or AQH aficionados. There is also a small corral where presumably there are live horse demonstrations, but we did not witness any during our visit.
The cost is $4 for adults and $2.50 for children 6-18.
If you like horses, this is an interesting family museum. Plan on spending 1-2 hours.
This features quarter horses, their fame and pride. as well as those that train, breed, and race the horses. This is a large place, but only has 20,000 average people showing up annually.
