The spacious interior and interesting architecture rank high on the ambience scale, and the walls are adorned with the work of Austin artists and photographers. There always seems to be a party going on at West Lynn; if you prefer quiet surroundings, consider a meal before or after regular mealtime hours.
Favorite Dish: The mozzarella and tomatoes al pesto features juicy romas layered with mozzarella chunks and topped with homemade pesto. The pizza Mediterraneo is a tantalizing mix of spinach, mushrooms, onions, olives, currants and pecans topped with chevre, feta and mozzarella. The Caribbean stir-fry features crunchy veggies, crimini mushrooms and firm tofu in a ginger-garlic-fruit juice sauce that perfectly complements the black beans served alongside. For pasta, the fettuccine al greco is a must-try, with fresh basil, garlic and tomatoes tossed with olive oil, feta and capers.
