Hitching is definatly the cheapest way to get around in Texas since it's so massive and there is absolutly NO public transit system. There are a lot of commercial train lines you can hop on, but that's dangerous. There are a few passenger trains, and there is a greyhound bus station. But even still, Beaumont is a very spread out city.
