I have not been inside. They are not open at night, when the wine bar is open. Looks good, in case you are here for another reason than to taste wine and party with Emil and August. :)

Real tiny and cozy, with seating at a bar or on sofas, just like a living room at home. Great patio too.
Favorite Dish: WINE!!

Address: 2295 Bulverde Road.
Yes, this is the happening nightlife spot. It is an art gallery, antique shop, and much more. It is right next to the wine bar and is owned by our good friends, Emil Friesenhahn and August Penalver.
Dress Code: Look cool!

Don't drink too much wine at the wine bar, because it is a long drive back to San Antonio, and you do not want to provide the Bulverde police with something to ease their boredom, do you?

The entire town is Off the Beaten Path. Take time to walk around and see the fields of wildflowers. See my Walk-About Travelogue for photos from around town.

I have put the photos from my Bulverde *walk-about* in a Travelogue, for easier viewing. Click here.

Favorite thing: Visit The Gallery in the Village. Even if there is not a party going on, Emil and August will have a lot to show you.
Fondest memory: What I miss most when I am away from Bulverde is Emil and August.

Fondest memory: I love being in the country when a storm is pending. The clouds and the green landscapes are so beautiful. See my Cloud Travelogue if you like this too.
