Best wings I've ever eaten. You can buy various degrees of heat plus additional wet (soaked in hot sauce). Delicious vinegar/cayenne hot sauce. Great fries, too. Plus standard hamburger/sandwich menu.
Order of 16 wings, extra hot, wet, garlic. Out of this world. Leave a Comment Theme: LocalPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageAddress: University Drive near the Hwy 6 Bypass

This place is one of the best restaurants/bars in town. Food is excellent and reasonably priced and it is hard to beat the drink specials. Service is quick and friendly. There are multiple TVs for watching sports, porch area for dining doubles as a stage for live music featuring local bands. This place always draws a crowd. Stop by for a drink and some nachos and stay for the music.
You have to try the trashcan lid nachos (feeds 4) these nachos are covered in layers of grilled beef and/or chicken, refried beans, queso, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. Best nachos I've ever had. Leave a Comment Theme: MexicanPrice: less than US$10 » Currency ConverterComparison: least expensiveAddress: 211 University Dr, College Station, TXPhone: 979.260.0662

This is a chain of casual, sit down restaurants offering any type of food from steak to sandwiches, salads to things from the grill. They have a great bar that is pretty well priced for the area. They have a wonderful daily happy hour. I believe it is from 5pm-7pm and then 9pm-11pm. During that time they offer selected $3 appetizers and $2 drinks. The drinks include margarita on the rocks, cosmopolitan, draft beer, and a few others. In the bar area they have a few televisions, juke box, and have yet to see a rude person. It's a fun, laid back atmosphere. People come here with their families, after a ball game, on a date, and so on. There has to be something you'll like! Again, since this is a chain there are many of these locations around Dallas. Find the one that is closest to you from their website.
If I'm eating a meal I love the Turkey O'Toole. It is sliced turkey served on a pretzel bun with melted swiss cheese and covered with honey mustad. If I'm here for happy hour I order the Irish cheese fries along with the margarita, cosmopolitan, or a draft beer. The tab is always nice during happy hour no matter how many drinks you have :)

This was easy to get to, plenty of parking and not too crowded. I love the opening shot, it's evening time, sun is just setting, you are entering the restaurant and feeling hungy, with the promise of being well fed...... what more could you ask for? I don't generally like American food, I find it to be bland in taste. Great effort is made to make it look good, which is something, but burger and fries definitely turn me off. Good selection in this menu, with healthy options. The most expensive was $8.50, cheapest $6.50, so unlikely to break the bank. It also has the useful facility on the website to pre-order your food, so that it is ready for you to take away. There are two other restaurants in this chain in Texas.
Prawns with mushrooms and snap peas. Tasty yet not too many calories! Leave a Comment
