A&M is a very close, family-like school. The Aggie spririt is very strong. This means Aggies treat each other with respect and will do anything for each other. Traditions are very important. The campus is very beautiful. There is a golf course, student center, and the research park for fun and relaxation. Kyle Field is home to the greatest college football team. The concerts that come to the area are played at one of the two venues on campus, G. Rollie White and Reed Arena. Theatrical productions and movies can be seen at Rudder Auditorium. College Station is very much a college town, and the college...err university...to visit is Texas A & M University. It's the largest university in terms of land, and one of the largest in terms of student population. It has a long standing reputation for honoring tradition and conservative values. This is a must see campus! Leave a Comment Address: College Station, Texas 77843Phone: 979-845-3211Directions: Hwy 60 and College AveWebsite: http://www.tamu.edu/

ITS REALLY INTERESTING THERE. The students are exceptionally friendly. We noticed that many of them say grace before eating lunch in the student union. Leave a Comment Directions: don't remember

Please don't move to Bryan-College Station. There's really nothing of any significant interest to be found here. Why else would others be forced to mention our university as a tourist attraction? Yes, I suppose at best a half-day visit could be stretched, but what for those that actually live here? I noticed someone mentioned our mediocre mall. But seriously, what town doesn't have a mall? As a 17 year-old high school student, I've come to learn that the climax of this Boresville is a strip of bars along Northgate that allows its students to drink away the reminders about how much a disappointment the schooling and surrounding town they have chosen to pay for and live in is. This is more ON the beaten track I suppose. It's a State Park and absolutely brilliant for dog walking and birdwatching. We went for a good 3 hour walk and I played with and chased the dogs and hubby looked for birds. Good healthy excercise and the temperature was not too hot in March, around 73oF /21oC. It was also good for overactive teenagers! The website below gives you a comprehensive over view of the activities there and the conservation and research being carried out. It's free to enter and use and the paths are well marked. Leave a Comment Address: Rock Prairie RoadDirections: South East of College Station.Website: http://www.csdl.tamu.edu/FLORA/LCP/LCPINTRO.HTML
