 | Corpus Christi General Tips | Tips 1 - 10 of 40 | | Although this beach is rather dirty at the moment with scattered trash and smelly seaweed, it's really fun to drive your car on. You can also park an RV or Trailer on the beach for camping or just use a tent. Leave a Comment

Bob Hall Pier. I really don't like this pier because it is privately owned and you have to pay a dollar to walk on it. If you plan on fishing, you'll have to pay an extra dollar for your fishing pole. Leave a Comment

I'm not sure what this building is. It looks abandoned with missing and boarded windows, but I'm sure it was magnificent at one time. Leave a Comment

Most of all, I enjoy the solitude of this beach. It's not hard to find a spot in which no one is seen in either direction. I believe in late June early July, a tractor trolls the beach clearing away the massive amounts of seaweed. Leave a Comment

are the incredible sunsets. The sunsets in Corpus always looked as if heaven were physically snapping up the daylight into it's arms. The sky radiates a bright orange and fades into a bright red. They are incredible! Leave a Comment

I love a cultural area (I don't think it has a name)near downtown CC. You will find there houses from our past called Heritage Park, the Harbor Playhouse, the Museum of Science (not the official name), Asian Culture Museum...and my fave The Art Museum of South Texas. The Art Muesum has a place in it called the ARTcade. It is for anyone who enjoys doing art....especial child friendly. It is open T,W,F,ST,SN from 10-5 and Th 10-9. Admission is free.

walk or drive along the Gulf of Mexico. It's such a beautiful view that you wish you could live there forever. Leave a Comment

Take a drive along S.P.I.D. (South Padre Island Drive) or Ocean Drive overlooking the Gulf Of Mexico and beautiful homes. Stop at one of the many parks on Ocean Drive and feed the gulls, fishes, and dolphins like I did.
Ocean Drive, laid back attitude, pawn shops and pawn shops, weekend flea market, and the beautiful beaches Leave a Comment

When thoughts of warm sandy beaches and tropical breezes tempt you, do what Texans have been doing for decades, head to Corpus Christi. This perennial favorite seaside city has well earned its popularity. Perched on the Texas Coastal Bend, Corpus Christi and its neighboring communities, both on the mainland side of Matagorda Bay and on Padre Island have virtually anything a visitor could want in a seaside vacation. No other Texas coastal destination offers visitors as full a spectrum of choices as the Corpus Christi area, from big city nightlife to secluded fishing spots, from leisurely strolls on the beach to hiking through a National Seashore, from luxury hotels to intimate cabins.
