Corpus Christi Restaurants

This place is small, yet the owners try to cram as many tables into the limited space as possible. Some may say that the overcrowding adds to the ambience - others, however, may feel like sardines in a can. There are many choices on the menu and they are certainly not expensive when compared with local eateries, but then again, you get what you pay for . . . the chicken fried steak was something you might find in the frozen food section of Wally-world and the gravy could be located a few aisles over. The left-over steak would make an excellent substitute for your missing flip flop - the filet mignon comes with its own strap! The pork chops were better than expected. When asked about the pork chops, all the server could manage was a curt "they're good." The parking lot is tiny (no wonder) and the building's exterior is pure strip center.

Favorite Dish: The pork chops were the best thing I tasted - moist and tender.

My wife knows fried shrimp, as she has to have a fix at least once a week, and she is never shy to say Blackbeard's has the best and most consistant fried shrimp in Corpus Christi. We don't order much else, but for the shrimp, GREAT!

Favorite Dish: Fried Shrimp or grilled Mahi Mahi

This restaurant is so yummy!! It is great for families, or going out with your friends! It has a fun bar area and a nice restaurant area. It is very close to the American Bank Center, and the Hooks stadium so it is a convenient place to eat before events!! Seafood, cheeseburgers, chicken, soups, salads, sandwiches... all kinds of yummy food! Don't forget appetizers and dessert, those are the best!

Favorite Dish: Friend Avocado for appetizer, Chicken Jack Burger with chips, and A fried cheescake for dessert!

Great food with a great view of the Marina at Corpus Christi. Food is primarily Thai, but there are other offerings, including a couple of Thai/American Fusion dishes for those interested. Many vegetarian options. The restaurant is casually elegant, the service is friendly and fast, and the food is delicious. Lunch specials include wonderful entrees all served with soup, pad thai noodles, and steamed jasmine rice. I had the red curry and my companion had a mixed seafood dish - both delicious, as were the soup, noodles, and rice. The owner was available

The staff at the Pelican including the owner made me feel at home . if you go to Port aransas you should mstop in for one meal. Nice patio area. Go for breakfast for the stack of pancakes and then try a dinner too ! My fave was the seafood ....shrimp plate with breaded fish and garlic potatos. the coffee is good too .

On a recent visit, I found that this place had just gone out of business. Maybe they sold their delicious food too cheaply?

I drove straight here from the airport, and was dissapointed to find a closed sign.

Favorite Dish: Fajita Tacos

It is the perfect blend of exceptional seafood with a light, lively and casual atmosphere. Landry's Seafood House locations are recognized by their movie-style marquees on the front of the restaurant and each guest is treated to great seafood at a reasonable price and courteous service in a fun-filled atmosphere.

Favorite Dish: Seafood of course! For a chain restaurant the food and service is excellent. Actually the shrimp is delicious and so is the tuna steak platter.

The Whataburger chain is all over the Corpus area. We ate there once, at the one right by the Gulf. From the second story, we had a nice view while we were eating. Nice way to relax for a few minutes while during the tourist thing.

Favorite Dish: We only got burgers and fries - nothing special. I have had better in most places.
