This is just an amazing live music venue. The club is comprised of 2 different rooms, The Tea Room and The Ballroom. The Tea Room is the smaller of the two and provides a cozier setting. Either way, you get a great view of the musicians.
They have a schedule of some of their headlining acts hand-painted on the side of the building. If you'd like to see some samples of these paintings as well as get an idea of the acts who appear at Gypsy, visit http://www.franksart.net/tearoom.html
Otherwise, please visit their website for hours, calendar, ticket info., etc.

This is another cool little place that I have played at. It is a small bar/laundromat in an area of Dallas called Fair Park. This is right down the street from Deep Ellum, the prime live music spot. Here you can have a cheap beer while watching soon darn good local bands. It is free to get in and park, which is a better deal than Deep Ellum where they charge anywhere from $7 to $10 to park unless you are lucky enough to snag a meter. It is usually $5 to $7 to see a local band in Deep Ellum and anywhere from $10 to $25 to see national acts.
Dress Code: No dress code here. Freaks and punk rockers welcome, as well as anybody else who wants to come and join the fun.

There are pool tables, slot machines, video and arcade games, a gift shop, an intimate bar/lounge and – are you ready for this? – a bull riding arena with live bulls on Friday and Saturdays at 9 and 10 p.m.. Oh, and there's room for 6,000 cowboys and cowgirls. Don't forget your hat.
