Dallas in December - Packing List

by ATXtraveler Written Dec 27, 2007

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Luggage and bags: Always travel small. If you are coming by plane, just bring a carry on bag. No one will notice if you wear the same pair of jeans on a couple days of the trip!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: December in Dallas is truly a mixed bag. So far in 2007, we have had a day in the 80's several in the 30's, and plenty in between. The normal average is in the high 50's, so bring a couple things for the warmer side of that and for the colder side of that.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Available for purchase very easily around the greater DFW area.

    March Packing List

by ATXtraveler Written Oct 18, 2008

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The temperature for the most part in March is going to be mild, although Dallas has been known to have winter slip past the end of February a couple times. Overall, around the middle of March however the entire day will be nice and calm. You will most likely want to wear short sleeves and a light pair of pants or jeans, but I would keep a light jacket, possibly even a rain jacket with you in case the occasional drizzle makes it way.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Dallas is a very metropolitan area, so the chances of you needing camping gear are slim to none.

  • Bring sunscreen

by kingbk Written May 11, 2007

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: If you are coming to Dallas from April-mid September, bring light clothes and sunscreen. Also bring a raincoat, you never know what the weather will do. Bug replient isn't a bad idea either.

From late September-March, the weather remains usually around 50-60 degrees. Very pleasent. Snow is rare, but sometimes there are cold spells. Bring a coat just in case.
