UPDATE- my JFK art was a finalist in the Dallas Press Club's "KATIES". Didn't get the "KATIE". But I got what I really wanted....to be a finalist & the recogniziton for my art.
This museum, at the site of the Kennedy assasination, is pretty interesting.
The Texas School Book Depository Building in downtown Dallas has some cool memorablia associated with the former US president and the events of that fateful day.
Discounts are sometimes available from the Tourist Information Center nearby.
Dealey Plaza - the sight of many different attractions...The Sixth Floor Museum, JFK Memorial, Dallas Visitor Center, The Conspriacy Museum, Reunion Tower and Arena, & the sight of JFK's assassination.
This is a very historical place for the U.S. since it involved one of the most popular presidents of the 20th century.
As I arrived downtown, I was scoping out who all was there.
Look NBC studios filming this VERY important event in Dallas history.
This event brought groups of people from around the world laying wreathes and flowers.
JFK was truley a world leader.
John F. Kennedy Memorial - is a memorial to the late president. It is simple and stark and was designed by Kennedy family friend - Philip Johnson.
The Texas Book Depository - where Lee Harvey Oswald may have fired the shot that may have killed John F. Kennedy.

Dealey Plaza is the site of the Kennedy assassination. An 'X' on the road marks where the President was shot and a plaque was placed beside the footpath.
This is a special memorial for JFK on the 40th Anniversary.

November 22, 1963 was the date that JFK was assasinated. I went to Dealy Plaza many times, but this year I decided to go for the 40th Anniversary.
The Texas Bookstore Depository - JFK museum. This is the
location from where President Kennedy was shot. The museum is very informative.
This is obviously the site of assasination of President Kennedy. There is a museum in the building from which the shots allegedly came and a memorial.
The museum chronicles JFK's life and career. View various conspiracy theories. This is the actual Book Depository where they say kenedy was shot from.
Sombering place with unanswered questions. The conspiracy theories receive much attention, though visit the museum (located on the sixth floor) to learn more about JFK's legacy.
