Downtown, Dallas

There are so many pics I can get of the city, I will try to add more with time.

Funny, when you live in a city, you take it for granted and see it every day.

Dallas is a Beautiful moderen city and no you will not find cowboys on the streets of Dallas.

Don't be scared off by people telling you there's nothing to do in downtown Dallas. Actually, there's lots to do!

Visit the lovely Dallas World Aquarium (designed to look like a rainforest, pretty cool), check out the Sixth Floor Museum, walk around West End and explore downtown. More people are moving down there these days, and more and more businesses are opening up. There's actually quite a few shopping opportunities downtown!

Dallas has the most beautiful skyline...Im not just saying that! It is awesome, but especially at night...go and see! One of the best views is driving south on I-35E (coming from the north obviously). Continue driving as you feel like youre being swallowed up by the big city. Kewl.

Downtown Dallas, though deserted other than during the work day, is a good contrast between old and new. I was surprised to see many older buildings amongst all the new skyscrapers. So perhaps in addition to seeing the Sixth Floor, maybe stroll a few blocks here and there so see some of downtown.

Dallas has some beautiful architecture and sculptures throughout the city.

This is my favorite building in downtown Dallas. We have a great skyline.

What a beautiful day it was, just 100 degrees. Yes, Dallas has the heat in the summer.

To survive, I stay in the air conditioning. :)

There is a long pool on Dealey Plaza which from this angle (photo) you can see the 6th floor window where the President was reportedly shot from.
