The street with most bars in Denton is called Fry Street and it is located right next to the University of North Texas. Because of its location, it is a big college hang out, but have some decent places even for people who are a few years older.

The UNT buses serve the students at the university. It provides transportation around campus, to certain off-campus housing, and the mall. It also connects up with the city's bus system, called the Link. While you will be able to go to different places around campus, don't expect to be able to really go anywhere else in town. The public transportation system in Denton is very limited.

When I went to locate the place to write my VT tips on Denton, I discovered that there were two Dentons listed on VT. If you want the Denton near Dallas Fort Worth, then this is the wrong one.
I attempted to notify the people who had pages here, that this was the incorrect place. I wrote
"There are two Dentons in TX, and this is the one near Abilene, and not the one near McKinney and Dallas in Denton Co where TWU is located."
Some of the VTers have ignored the comment - probably because they don't sign in very often. One of them moved her page as she readily agreed that this was the wrong place. The URL is for the correct Denton page on VT
However msbrandysue wrote the following on my home page

I have not been to this Denton which is near Abilene TX. Most of the tips and pages at this location are in the wrong place. They need to be in the Denton that is near Frisco and Fort Worth.
