There is the Downtown Mini Mall I and II on the downtown square selling the usual 2nd hand items (or antiques as they are now called) from household items, gifts, clothing, tools to furniture. There are two levels to this one in the photo. The No. II stores is at 118 N Locust.

A great store on downtown square. The offer contemporary home accessories, personal items and gifts which are distinctly different. One item advertised was a pair of Brazilian-made jeans with a leather embossed pattern.

This store features Cowboy and Old West home decor and accessories. The artwork and furniture are crafted from native Western materials such as wood, horn, and animal hides. They have Western antiques which include tools, signs, kitchen utensils and plenty of others. They also have another store at the Fort Worth Stockyards.

If you have a sweet tooth then the candy store is definitely a stopping place. The aroma of chocolate hits you as you walk through the door. There are chocolates in all shapes and forms and they sell all kinds of sweets and candies. Some good old favourites as well.

Downtown Mini Mall I and II: Not really an antique store

This is like a permanent indoor estate sale or flea market. There are separate vendors’ booths with a central checkout place. It is two stories and is huge. We walked in here and walked around a little while, but didn't buy anything. It looks like a good place to prospect for things that you could sell on e-Bay.

Candy Haven: Best Cakes and Chocolates in the Metroplex!

by tejanasueca Updated Feb 11, 2005
    Candy Haven, Denton, Texas

Family owned and operated since 1983, this candy store focuses on customer service and will go the extra length to serve you.

What to buy: Looking for homemade chocolate, a pie for the weekends dinner, a birth day cake and some cookies, some candy for the kids, or maybe even for a wedding cake? Well, then Candy Haven is the place to go! Believe me, I know all to well how good their stuff is...

What to pay: More than Wal-Mart, but less than many other fine retailers in the Metroplex.

Golden Triangle Mall: The Local Mall

by tejanasueca Written Jan 29, 2005

This mall is pretty small considering the size of Denton, but you have to keep in mind that the huge malls around Dallas are not far away (which makes this mal pretty adequate for those minor "mall" necessities).

The main stores in the mall are JC Penny, Sears, Foyle's, Ross, Dillards, Barnes and Noble, and DSW Shoes. Other small standards like GNC, Gap, and Radio Shack can also be found. Stores like Mervyn's and Old Navy are located outside of the mall.
