After dinner I had a rum and coke, and watched more of the baseball game on the big screen TVs. The rum and coke was strong enough and the waitress cute; but not the model for the sign. The music was in Spanish for the most part.

A safe and upscale adult entertainment spot with reasonable drink prices and good entertainment. Although east of El Paso a few miles on I-10, it is a better choice than some of the rowdier in-town bars.

Suavecito has a nice dance floor.
The DJ is a great salsa dancer who dances all night long.
There is a salsa instructor on Wednesdays from 8:30pm -10pm. and dancing after that.
Cover charge is $3.00 and also food is served in the restaurant.
The people are charming and the waiters are cute.

My choice for Nightlife spot would have to be the New Old Plantation. Yes, this club openly caters to homosexuals, but it does not take away from any heterosexuals looking for a good dancing experience. On Friday and Saturday nights, the club is packed and plays great dance music. Drinks aren't that bad for the prices paid for them. Last, but certainly not least; like in any other club, if you leave alone, you will be left alone.
Most people coming to El Paso are coming from smaller towns around the country, and many have not experienced a 'Drag Show' like the New OP has on Friday and Saturday nights. Its not just any old guy coming out onto the dance floor and singing to Barbara Streisand or Cher; its top-rate performers from the Southwest that come put on a show for you. Definitely for seeing, at least once.
Dress Code: No dress code applies, and you'll see people in anything from teeny mini-skirts to loud and extravagant dresses. Jeans and T are also regular staples.
