The National Border Patrol Museum houses displays of photographs, documents, historical items, and others showing the history of the Border Patrol along with the equipment and vehicles they use to accomplish their mission. Also shown are the techniques used to cross the border illegally and a display honoring the Border Patrols counterparts in Mexico and Canada. Some displays are hands-on for the kids. Hours are 9 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Admission is free.
There is also a room dedicated to those who have been killed in the line of duty. The latest of these was Border Patrol Office Terry from Arizona, whom I had met once.
