This is a chain steak house (most outlets in Texas) so we normally have steak, and the children have chicken fingers and fries.
Favorite Dish: A favorite appetizer is Spicy Spinach & Artichoke Dip with a hint of jalapeno and topped with Jack cheese. Served with tortilla chips 6.49
My husband likes the soup (roasted tomato broth with smoked chicken, tortilla strips and Jack cheese). A cup of this a la carte would be $3.99.

This is a good restaurant for us because they have lots of games for children to play with while they are waiting for a table or for food. The restaurant is decorated with stags heads, antlers, wagon wheels and a large stuffed bear. The tables are covered with black and white fake cowhide, and you get chips to start with while you are waiting for your meal.
Favorite Dish: We like the Mexican steaks served with a cheese enchilada, rice, refried beans & tortillas from $19.99 to .$23.99, and they also have Texas style with House or Caesar salad, baked or skillet potatoes & Texas toast.

Favorite Dish: We particularly like the BBQ Chicken pizza. There is a special menu for the kids and they usually have the children's cheese pizza and a kid's meal sundae for 99 cents for dessert. We also like the five cheese pizza (pictured) which has fresh sliced Roma tomatoes, basil, fresh Montery Jack, smoked Gouda, Mozzarella and shaved Peconino Romano cheese.
Unlike other pizza places, they do have desserts - pictured are a sundae and cheesecake

My father-in-law took us here to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. My father-in-law likes this place because the decor is somewhat raunchy. There are pictures of men in speedos who basically overflow the fabric, and one of a kangaroo's balls. Some of the ones that are just pin-ups are in photo 4.
The ladies room (which my father-in-law has not seen of course and I can only imagine what is in the men's room) has framed ladies undergarments (photo 5) decorating the walls.
Favorite Dish: One of our favorites is
Apple Gorgonzola Salad
Tart Granny Smith apples, spiced walnuts, dried cranberries and Gorgonzola cheese are tossed with fresh Romaine lettuce and our Italian vinaigrette.
Small $10.99
Large $17.99
We ordered Lasagna
Nine towering layers of lasagna noodles stuffed with our homemade meat sauce and a savory combination of ricotta, mozzarella, provolone and Romano cheeses.
Mio $12.49
Small $14.99
Large $27.99
and
Spaghetti Meat Balls
Imported Italian spaghetti with our famous half-pound mouth-watering meatballs smothered in our homemade marinara sauce.
Mio $10.49
Small $16.99
Large $22.99
The meat balls are huge.
We had enough to eat so that we packed some of it up to take home.

We went to California Pizza Kitchen on our last night in Frisco, with our daughter and her family. We didn't get underway until later in the evening, and we had to wait a short time to be seated.
The menu says: In the beginning there was pizza...
We call it our canvas and the art is in our toppings. First there was the BBQ Chicken. Then came Thai Chicken, BLT and Peking Duck. Then Vegetarian and Jamaican Jerk Chicken. And for the traditionalists, Mushroom, Pepperioni and Sausage.
Since we opened our first California Pizza Kitchen in 1985, we have been playing with this simple, yet classic dish. Our goal is to translate America's favorite flavor's and tastes onto a great pizza crust. The result has been a complete redefinition of the traditional concept of pizza.
Favorite Dish: Their menu features hearth-baked pizzas. There is a special menu for the kids.
Bob had a half Waldorf salad for $7.29 (pictured). The other three adults, had two regular pizzas - the Original BBQ Chicken Pizza ($10.49) and Five Cheese Pizza ($8.99). The BBQ pizza had barbecue sauce, smoked Gouda and Mozzarella cheese, sliced red onions and cilantro. To tell the truth, I didn't really care for either of the pizzas. I would have rather had one like the kids had.
Iced tea and Dr. Pepper were $2.19, and peach iced tea was $2.79.
In addition to pizzas, they also have salads, soups and sandwiches, and of course (at a hefty price) desserts. For instance one of us (don't remember which) had the Caramel Pecan Cheesecake for $5.99 and I had a Caramel Fudge Sundae for $6.99 for dessert.
The bill before tax was $57.19 + $4.72 tax.

After we visited Fort Worth, we went to La Hacienda for dinner. There are four of these in the Dallas area. In addition to Frisco and North Dallas, there is a La Hacienda in Colleyville and Carrollton.
Favorite Dish: In addition to steaks, they have
King Ranch Shrimp
Mesquite-grilled shrimp filled with Cotija cheese and jalapeno, wrapped in bacon. Spanish rice and drunken beans. 19.99
Grilled Farm - Raised CatfishTM
Seasoned catfish filet, cooked on a flat grill (not fried), rice, grilled veggies, pico & green tomatillo dipping sauce. 12.99
Chicken TampiquenaTM
Chicken breast with sauteed onion, poblano and tomato, cheese enchilada, guacamole, rice & beans. 12.99
Chicken LightTM
Grilled chicken breast, rice, grilled veggies, pico & salad. 11.99
They also served margaritas, trail blazers (appetizers), tex-mex combos, and fajitas,
There is a children's menu and they have party rooms and cater.
I had a pecan praline ($1.79) for dessert..

This chain is a favorite of my daughter's family. It was our last night (a Friday) so we met our SIL there from work. They gave the children a menu/game booklet and crayons.
Favorite Dish: I had the steak special and got it with spinach instead of fries (pictured). It was fairly inexpensive, but the steak was tiny and they didn't ask me how I wanted it. It was about $12.99
The rest of the group had smoked sirloins which came with Garlic Mashed Potatoes
and a choice of House Salad, Caesar Salad, cup of Steak Soup or cup of Smoked Chicken Tortilla Soup. This was between $11 and 18 depending on the size of the steak. There was also some very good hot bread.
The children had chicken strips and fries.
I was the only one who wanted dessert (as my dinner wasn't that large) and I had the Toasted Pecan Ball which was Blue Bell vanilla ice cream rolled in toasted pecans, covered with chocolate and caramel sauces
$4.99

This is one of those restaurants where you really can't go wrong. It has anything you would ever want from drinks to food. From enchiladas to tacos, mariscos to fajitas, it's all fantastic. It's particularly hopping on Friday afternoons for happy hour and dinner.
I have eaten at the ones in Addison and Lewisville and find them equal in service and taste.
The ambience is very open, cocktail hour, sometimes loud, usually a group or two is having a good time.
I just don't have the skills to tell you how good the food is. Chips and hot sauce are free! So, try it and enjoy!
Favorite Dish: I always get the enchiladas!! I usually get two chicken enchiladas in sour cream sauce and one cheese enchilada (no onions) with queso sauce. It also comes with beans and rice.
When I'm feeling good I get a nice house margarita :D

Yes, America is all about fast food. It's cheap, fast, and easy! While in Frisco I always make sure to stop at Taco Bueno!! It is great tex-mex food with a lower price. Although loaded in calories I always save one meal to splurge and this is definitely the one!
*No alcohol is available like some places around here though.
Favorite Dish: My favorite meal is the Mucho Nachos (without the chili sauce or refried beans) with a soft beef taco. It is enough for two people, unless you're really hungry!! They put plenty of queso and tomatos on top which I always enjoy. However, because of all the the toppings some of the chips lose their crunch. I love it!! My mom hates nachos like that so be advised!
The tacos both hard and crispy are fantastic. I've heard the tortilla soup is great, although it's usually only available in the colder months. The mexi-dip is also great. You get beans, guacamole, and a cheese puff to dip your chips in.

I was on on my way to Alfred Angelo, a bridal store and I noticed a long queue at this drag. It was about 7pm then. I thought I had to check it out some time. The next time I was at Frisco, I made it a point to stop by that place. There were a few customers sitting at the tables and a few guys at the counter making their orders.
I went on to browse the menu on the wall. Got in the queue, made my order and waited about 10 minutes for my thick and velvety treat. I told myself I had to go back for more. And so I did :D
