    Stonebriar Centre: Mission: Mall Attack

This mall houses 5 departmental stores - Macy/ Nordstrom/ JC Penny/ Dillards/ SEARS. There's an Ice skating rink, a food court with selections of asian/ mexican/ italian and american food, Barnes & Nobles, The Cheesecake Factory which entices you with their wiiiide selections of cakes and desserts as you walk in the restaurant... waiting to be seated. Strategy!

Should you need to look for a news stand to get soda, magazines, water, ciggies and candies... it's a small store just by the ice rink. Look for Nestle Tollhouse and it's at the back of it.

There are 2 Sephora outlets. One of them is in JC Penny.
AMC Theatre's on the 3rd floor if you feel like watching a movie or having some popcorn. It's hard to resist not getting popcorn 'coz you can smell it right from inside B & N which is below the theatre.

Stonebriar is a busier mall than the others around such as Colin Creek Mall and Willowbend. It is, also bigger than the 2.

    What to buy: Shoes/ Apparels/ Sporting goods/ Texas-Dallas Souveniers/ Make-up (Sephora, etc)/ Food/ Smoothies/ Cell phone/ Wigs/ Photo studio/ Sun glasses/ Cigars/ etc

Toys R Us: For Children and their Parents

by grandmaR Updated May 23, 2004

Toys R Us from across the parking lot

I have not been there, but I understand that Frisco has the second largest Toys R Us in the country. There are six Toys R Us in the country designated "Geoffrey Toy Box" stores, and this is one of them.

The store includes a play area where parents can drink gourmet coffee while their children burn off some energy, a hair cut parlor, a photography studio, and party rooms for rent.

What to buy: In addition to toys they carry a children's clothing line and an electronics division.

This Toys R Us was listed in the "Best of Frisco" in "Frisco" magazine.

Lone Star Trading Company: Metal Decorations

by grandmaR Updated May 21, 2004

    Wall decoration and shop

Our daughter bought this iron star for their family room/living room downstairs because she thought it appropriate for a cowboy/Texas based room. She had to go up and look up the charge slip in order to remember the name of the company that produced it. I took some pictures of it as we were speeding by in the car, but the name wasn't visible in my pictures. It turns out that they actually have 2 web sites.

What to buy: Wrought iron, cast aluminum, wicker, PVC, rustic cedar and pine furniture, pottery, patio sets, bird baths, chimeneas, pinon wood, statuary, bakers racks, bar stools, griffins, gargoyles, topiaries, trellises, arches, gates, bird cages and accessories.

The picture shows a large 3-D metal star in a circle (the horses head on the cabinet underneath is not part of the deal), and two shots from the car of the building at dusk.

What to pay: I did not ask my daughter what she paid. But according to their website, they won The Underground Shoppers 1997-98 award for HOME ACCENTS for exhibiting value excellence in Quality, Selection, Price, Personnel and Convenience and has also been featured on Channel 4 and on "Positively Texas" in a segment which features "the best deals in Texas."

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Sam Moon Trading recently opened (2003) a new store in Frisco after their success at Harry Hines Blvd. The company began as a wholesale business in 1984 and was know for its hot and trendy fashions and accessories. As popularity and interest grew they expanded to offer their prices to the retail trade.

They carry fashion and upmarket leather handbags and wallets, costume jewellery, sterling silver, watches, hair accessories, scarves and hats in one shop while their one next door (Sam Moon’s Luggage & Gifts), carries brand name luggage, watches and gifs. There is an extensive range of briefcases and all travel accessories as well as perfume and sunglasses. Their prices are unbelievable and of course this place is always packed especially at the weekend. Parking is difficult although there are outlying parking spots within easy walk.

    Store hours : Mon – Sat 9.00a.m. – 6.30p.m. Closed Sundays

    Stonebriar Mall!

    by Kodi01 Updated Jun 27, 2003

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

    Stonebriar mall

It is a new mall as of 2 years ago and very welcome to the community. Everything grows around it adding strip malls and lights to the once country side.

We even have a gas station which is most needed.

What to buy: It is a typical mall only a little more upscale, there is valet parking.

How many malls have valet parking?
