Ananas is located near the Gainesville town square. It's a treat visiting the shop to discover all the lovely home accents, breathe in wonderful scents and find luscious soaps and body cremes. Floral arrangements punctuate the shop in all colors and textures. I had my eye on these!
I think you would enjoy browsing through Ananas for that special gift or a creamy lotion with which to pamper yourself or to just beautify your home. I was told that they also provide a limousine service for a celebratory night out and special occasions. (940-390-4177).

Memory Lane was the sort of antique shop I love--full to bursting with collectibles and the occasional unique antique. I was overjoyed to find mini-tomato salt and pepper shakers. I've been collecting "tomato" pieces for a few years, so try to jump on those items when I see them.
The store was nicely laid out and neatly arranged. You'll find glassware, ceramics, the odd wood piece, furniture, mirrors, signs, baseball cards and autographed balls, 50's pieces and all the typical things you might expect to see.
My husband and a very nice man staffing the store talked about Gainesville and its early days. There was no reason to hurry out the door! Hours are Mon.-Sat. 10am-5pm, closed on Sunday.
