Wallis Hotel, Grapevine
This wonderful building is a reconstruction of what was originally the Wallis Hotel back in 1891. A local business man, John Walls built the original building. Its main guests were travelling salesmen and representatives of the farming industry. The hotel was closed in 1926 and demolished in the late 1930s. Many of the old bricks were used in the construction of the new highway 26 to Fort Worth.
