Near I-40 at the Groom exit is a Dairy Queen restaurant. I had a chicken sandwich meal there.
The local school sports team is the Groom Tigers. One wall of the restaurant is decorated to support the young athletes.

Favorite Dish: Raspberry milkshakes are one of my favorites.

This does not seem to belong with the cross. It is on the same stretch of interstate highway that you will encounter the giant cross on. The water tower is leaning. I think it is braced deliberately to lean as a point of interest for us tourists. It does not seem to be in danger of falling down.
