  • Great sushi at a great price.

Just tick or number the list you're given when you're ready. They have Sashami, Sushi Rolls, Handrolls and everything else you'd normally expect.

A more detailed review is at the website below.

They also have an item called Deep Fried Madness.

It's a great piece of sushi fusion!

Boondoggles: Beer, pizza and crawfish in a Clear Lake pub

This is a nice bar, with a good choice of beers including from microbreweries, but any kind of drink is available. Very often, however, their beers are flat (what are they doing with their beer tanks??) and their margaritas are of varied quality, more often extremely bitter and awful than good (depending on who prepares it at the bar I suppose). Great pizzas cooked in a wood fire, great crawfish. It can be very crowded on Friday evenings, starting at 5 pm, with the parking lot completely full and a very smokey room.
When the weather is nice, it is a pleasure to sit on their patio overlooking a bayou going into Clear Lake. The crowd is all ages. Lots of people who work at nearby NASA go there.

    Mediterranean Pizza
Full Sail Amber beer (when it is not flat...)

Real mexican food in the Clear Lake area (SW Houston, where NASA-Johnson Space center is located)!! A restaurant that finally dares to have spicy food if you want to! Delicious, large choice on the menu, great margaritas (not watered down for once...). The best mexican restaurant I have found so far in Houston. And cheap at that!

    Baba Yega: Delicious American (Montrose)

  • This restaurant has a great atmosphere, is not expensive, has very good american food (great burgers). It is located in the heart of the gay district of Houston, the Montrose area. They have an absolutely lovely court yard with pretty lush plants and flowers and a terrace in the little street the restaurant is on. I insist on the courtyard and the terrace because it is rare in Houston where most restaurants overlook gross giant parking lots.

    Burgers.

  • This a great vietnamese restaurant located at the heart of the Rice Village district. It is cheap for extremely delicate, spiceful dishes. This restaurant is small and family run. Nice atmosphere. Lots of locals go there. Do not miss it!!

    Everything is good!

  • This restaurant is elegant, relatively expensive, but their food is just amazing. Whether you set yourself for a steak or for seafood, it is a burst of subtle flavors in the meat and accompanying vegetables. I highly recommand it!

  • "Great little" restaurant, family owned, in the Clear Lake area (SW of Houston, area of NASA-Johnson Space Center). The only small and cozy japanese in the area, and my favorite one. Lots of locals go there. Good sushi, nice atmosphere, nice owners.

    ***UPDATE***
This restaurant is re-opened on 4th street (still in Seabrook) after being wiped-out by hurricane Ike in 2008.
    As delicious as ever!
    ***UPDATE***

This restaurant is a gem. Simply the best in the Clear Lake area.
First it is located in a nice-looking area, and not in a strip mall with ugly parking lots like most restaurants in Houston. This one is overlooking a pretty lake and is right next to Galveston Bay. It is small, family owned, in a old quaint little house. The food (Thai) is delicious. The service is a little slow but it is definitely worth the wait; you are likely to wait 1/2 hour or more if it is a group of more than 4 (and it means they did not heat up the stuff in the microwave at the last minute!! They are cooking everything from scratch). Sometimes also they do not have the ingredients for certain dishes or all the wines of their wine list. But even if they do not have what you initially wanted to order, it does not matter as everything is wonderfully tasting!

Everything is delicious! My favorite is the dish with duck (forgot the name, but there is only one).
