The decor was really nice and the place lively. The service is horrendous. Half of our orders were wrong and the waitstaff is arrogant.
Favorite Dish: Eight of us went to the restaurant and placed orders for six different dishes. Not one of the dishes was reccomendable. Looking at the overpriced menu I could not find anything distinctly Latin or South American. I dont think a South American person would recognize anything on the menu.

The house is always packed here. Amid the beams and stucco walls, you will feel like guests in the dining room of a busy hacienda. If service is sometimes sketchy, gratis plantain chips and tender entrees are well-nigh perfect. Surrender to the Churrascos practiced Latin way with its signature dish--tenderloin sauteed with lime, roasted peppers, and scallions.
Favorite Dish: Churrascos, of course!

Churascos is a dress up place (slacks, tie, and jacket or a dress for ladies) and it's a little more expensive, but the other restaurants are more casual (jeans and a button down shirt) and reasonably priced.
Favorite Dish: There are many good restaurants in Houston. I'll just list a few:
Churascos-plantain chips and tender steak,
Good Co. BBQ,
Nit Noi in Rice Village - Thai,
Ginza on San Felipe - excellent sushi
