Star Pizza, Houston

This small establishment is known throughout Houston as being one of the best places to get a pizza. They have 2 locations, but most people would agree that this one on Norfolk Street, the original, is the better of the 2. The restaurant itself is actually a 2 story house, with odd decorations and pictures on the walls. But as soon as you walk in and the smell of the freshly baked bread and garlic hits your nose, you'll know why you came here. There is seating inside, downstairs as well as up, and there are some tables outside on the decks both up and down. They have a wide variety of ingredients you can choose to put on your pie, including grilled chicken, vegetables, several diferent cheeses, and of course, pepperoni! The make a wonderful Margherita pizza here, among others. They also have great lasagna, fettucini alfredo, and many different salads and pastas. Also a good selection of beers, along with soft drinks. They do deliver to a very limited area around the Texas Medical Center and Rice University, but I would recommend going in for the full experience!

Favorite Dish: Rosemary and Garlic Chicken Pizza. Excellent, and suprisingly, gives you great breath! (Sarcasm!)

Located in an old house, this has a college atmosphere. But certainly families go here too for the awesome pizza and relazed atmosphere! You may want to call your order in advance, because the pizzas take 20-30 minutes to cook.
