Reliant Park is the location of some of the main stadiums of Houston. The old one, built in 1965 and called the Astrodome (the round building on the right on the picture), was quite famous in its time as it was the first enclosed air-conditioned football and baseball stadium. Some even called it the 8th wonder of the world!! The other newer building on the left is Reliant Stadium, home to the Texans, the american football team of Houston, professionals from the NFL (National Football League).
These stadiums and surrounding other compounds (exhibit halls) are used for much more than american football matches. Numerous events and fairs take place on these grounds, including the huge rodeo of Houston every March.

Finally, the Superbowl XXXVIII (2004) was located in Houston at the Reliant Stadium. Go to https://www.superbowlxxxviii.org/ for more info.
Ok, ok, ok we all know the Houston Texans are not the BEST team in the NFL but we will get there one day. Houston has some die hard fans either way! Don't mess with Texas and their football!!
Equipment:
Tail gate and bring a cooler, hot dog/burger meat, hats, RED WHITE AND BLUE apparel, strong vocal cords, shades, and sunscreen.
The Superbowl was actually a great event. The new stadium (which we are all paying for) proved to be a worthy venue for such a world class party.
Equipment:
Comfortable walking shoes as parking near the stadium is as rare as an honest opinion on the president.
