The Moody Gardens located in Galveston is a great place for the entire family.. Made up of primarily three sections that are housed in pyramids, one an aquarium, one a tropical rainforest and one a science center. The aquarium takes you step by step through the different oceans of the world... You will see everything from sea-lions and penguins to shark and the brightest colored fish you've ever seen.

The tropical rainforest is an amazingly realistic replica, compelte with high humidity and heat to give that tropical feel.. Step into the 10-story glass Rainforest Pyramid and enjoy thousands of species of tropical plants, exotic butterflies, birds and fish native to the rainforest of Africa, Asia and the Americas. Discover mysterious wonders of nature with crashing waterfalls and quiet streams, a Bat Cave and our special Butterfly Hatching Hut.

Slip on your 3D glasses and join the adventure at America's first IMAX Theater. See spectacular images on the six-story IMAX screen with the latest 3D and 2D films from the world's foremost filmmakers.

One of America's first IMAX Ridefilm Theaters will keep you in the action. Three specially designed theaters, featuring our 18-seat, motion-based pods and 180-degree, wrap-around screens, will take you on an adventure unlike any other. You're not just watching a spectacular film. . . you're in it!

Cruise Offats Bayou aboard an authentic replica of an 1800's paddlewheel boat. Dinner and private cruises also available.

This really promises to be a great experience!!!
