While researching Jefferson, I read about The Gone With the Wind Museum, whose collection of paraphenalia from the movie of the same name was compiled over a period of twenty five years. Not only do I have the movie, but I drool over the magnificent costumes and love this story of the Old South like many other people.

Bobbie Hardy, with the encouragement of her late husband, has collected photos, old movie posters, Madame Alexander dolls of the characters, costumes, replica dollhouse size Tara, autographs of the movie stars, original movie seats from the theatre in which this epic piece debuted, Christmas collectibles featuring the characters, countless prints of the novel from many countries and other memorabilia from the motion picture.
Admission is $3; $1 for age 12 and under. Hours are Thurs., Fri. and Saturday 10am-5pm or by appointment.
