Kemah Boardwalk

Kemah Boardwalk, Kemah

Kemah Boardwalk

Kemah Boardwalk, Kemah

msbrandysue Says:  Kemah Boardwalk is about an hour from Houston (including traffic). It is a miniature version, however, so if you are expecting the works don't get that excited. However, for a day/night away from the city it's a great solution. There are rides for children (even a new roller...

Take A Boat Ride On The Beast

Take A Boat Ride On The Beast, Kemah

VeronicaG Says:  As we approached the waterfront, a large, colorful vessel loaded with passengers revved it's motor and took off from the dock. It was the BEAST. As it departed, music blared over the sound system and in no time at all it was just a dot on the horizon. The Beast takes you on a...

Christmas at Kemah

A number of shops overlook the square on Kemah's waterfront where there is a small boardwalk. When I'm near a boardwalk the first thing I look for is...FUDGE! This shop had a wide selection of flavors to choose from, so after some thought I chose SNICKERDOODLE. Hmmm, fudge goes quickly when sharing with three other people!

One portion of this store was loaded with sugary confections encased in glass, while the remaining area was stocked to the roof with toys, stuffed animals, stained glass ornaments, jewelry, cards and gifts.

It was difficult to browse here and not leave with something. I chose the fudge, but you'd find many other temptations at Kandy Kemah.
