This is a must see for anyone swinging through town. Dedicated to the life and music of Buddy Holly, items in the center's permanent display include Buddy's Fender Stratocaster and glasses. They have a great film on Buddy that you can watch, and they have other exhibitions as well. Check out the center's website to see what special events they have in the works.

First off, I need to admit I was not a big buddy holly fan however I was pleasantly surprised with the Buddy Holly Center. Admission is $5 per adult and a visit will take at least 45 minutes.
The staff working here were very welcoming and the exhibit was really interesting. In addition to the general exhibit, there is also a film about Buddy Holly and a separate exhibition on the tragic plane crash which ended the life of Buddy holly.
