    The Ginocchio Hotel had fallen into disrepair over the last 20 years, but new owners took over and are refurbishing the hotel with the intention of putting in new businesses. There are fifteen homes, churches, and commercial buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, and nearly 100 historic markers in the city and county.
