    Shreveport is just over the State Line from Marshall in Lousiana. There are numerous casinos in Shreveport which is the main drawcard and some located on paddlesteamers.

    Jefferson is 16 miles north of Marshall. A great little town with loads of character and a riverboat history. Certainly worth a visit if you are passing through Marshall.
