McKinney is a suburb of Dallas, TX and is easily accessible to DFW Airport (45 miles), followed closely by Dallas Love Field (DAL) (35 miles). Both are convienent for making a trip to McKinney. There are also rumors that McKinney may get its own commercial airport soon, which would be wonderful for me as a traveler!
DAL is the hub for Southwest, and also serves American and Continental flights. DFW is the main hub for American Airlines, with a minor hub for Delta. It also services many airlines, including Korean and Lufthansa, British Airways, and the other main US carriers.

By Air: The McKinney Municipal Airport is at 1500 East Industrial Bvld. It serves both light and jet aircraft. The nearest large commercial airport is Dallas/Fort Worth International – 30 miles south/west of McKinney.
By Road : From Dallas take US-75 North, then take the W.Louisiana St/Virginia Parkway (FM-3038), exit #40.

If you're in Dallas just go north on Central (75) for about 45 minutes. We're right above Plano if you watch the news.
The quickest way to get to downtown is to exit Louisana/Virginia Pkwy and take a right and you'll soon come to the Downtown square. The streets downtown go in a one-way circle around the courthouse in a counterclockwise way.
