This multiplex is one of the biggest and most modern cinema complexes in the country.
There are 30 movie theaters featuring giant screens and reclining chairs.
There are also many restaurants nearby.
Rodeo City Music Hall
If country music is your thing, then the music hall features the area’s best classic country and gospel shows. Performances are by nationally known stars as well as local talent. They have rehersals and auditions every Wednesday night.
The music hall is open every Saturday.
Mesquite has a new AMC 30plex cinema close to the freeway. There is also the old Starplex Cinema just off US Hwy80. This cinema screens movies that have finished screening at AMC and other cinemas and screens them for $1.00… Now how can you beat that. The cinema is old but still comfortable, so if you’re not in a hurry to see an early release, wait a couple of months and pay only $1.00 or $1.50 after 6.00pm (except Tuesday which is $1.00 all day/night).
Forget Any Bars or Pubs
To my knowledge there are NOnightclubs as such in Mesquite. Mesquite is a ‘dry’ area – There are no alcohol stores in this area. Restaurants in dry areas can sell alcohol but you will be required to produce suitable I.D. and purchase a ‘membership’ for .99c. Membership is good for 3 months but you will also be required to purchase some kind of appetizer or entre. Most restaurants who have a bar area get around this stipulation by providing chips or nuts.
