The environment here is very nice, they have 2 stories. Upstairs is the bar area and downstairs is the dining area.
Favorite Dish: We just went here for after-work drinks. I had the frozen margaritas, which were very good. The chips & salsa are complimentary and very addictive!

They start out by giving you chips, pork rinds, and salsa. I did not personally eat the pork rinds, but the chips were thick and very good. The salsa was fresh and spicy.
Favorite Dish: My combination platter came with an appetizer of a chile con queso on a tostada and freshly made guacamole. Very good!

They give you a tray with butcher paper on it. You pick which meats you want and they weigh it. Included at the free fixins bar is pinto beans, 2 different kinds of homemade BBQ sauce, salsa, pickles, jalepenos, etc.
Favorite Dish: The brisket was excellent! The cheese jalepeno sausage was good too. Ask for it! Of course, they also have ribs, smoked turkey, ham, and 3-4 different kinds of sausages. The potato salad was homemade and very good. My coworkers had the cobbler (peach or cherry) and it looked yummy too. While your at it, you might as well get a bottle of Big Red out of the ice chest.

$8 as of March 2013. McAlister's serves sandwiches, salads and soups. I had some good Chicken and Dumpling Soup and a sweet tea. Hours are 10:30 AM to 9 PM Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 AM to 10 PM Friday and Saturday.

They have plenty of pasta dishes, seafood, and very large steaks!
Favorite Dish: Simple things make me happy....I had spaghetti with meatballs. Their dessert was also excellent....my favorite was the banana pudding!
