In the antique store is a homemade fudge shop, if this doesn't get your taste buds going then I don't know what will. There are plenty of choices and the two I tried were just amazing. One was Texas Mud I believe, it had 3 kinds of nuts and chocolate bits, just the ultimate in chocolate. The other was like a white cheesecake with a chewy caramel on it. There are also some tempting homemade cookies to choose from as well as hot and cold drinks
Macks bbq is right on the corners of hwy 69, hwy 37 and Greenville Hwy - a busy corner. They offer fried catfish, shrimp, crawfish ettoufee (a favourite of mine) as well as homemade chilli and of course a bar-be-que.
Holly Perks sells gourmet coffee by the pound as well as espresso drinks, hot chocolate and tea, Cowhill Express frozen cappuccino and fruit granite. They also sell antiques, crafts, jewellery and other gifts.
There are lots of nooks and crannies to be able to find something very different.
This Tea Room is in the largest and oldest antique mall in Mineola. They have coffee, sweets and bagels not to mention the homemade Belgium waffles. Of course there are other delectable items on the menu as well.
The East Texas Burger Co has been operating for since 1984 in this location and gets rave reviews for their burgers and their chicken fried steak. There is only street parking though is makes it difficult when they or surrounding shopping is busy. They serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
