This shop has some very different products – not quite the normal mercantile store you would expect to see selling well loved goods and crafts. They sell Italian bags, exquisite Olio candle and room fragrances, home decor, antiques, as well as a large selection of silver charms. There is also a bakery and café.
Right in downtown, this is just another lovely antique and gift store, brightly lit and lots of variety. They have a few Texas souvenirs also and postcards. There is a selection of Beanie Babies also.
There is just not one vendor, the store is made up of 30 vendors wares.
Clark Broadhurst operates his small shop just away from the downtown area, and business appears to be good. He collects old boots that he finds in the garbage or wherever and sets about to restore them and then ultimately resell them. When he’s finished they are good as new but better, because they have already been broken in for you – just like wearing slippers.
This building had its beginnings in the early 1900’s. The store sells new and some pre-owned furniture as well as accessories for the home – all quality items.
