BEAUTIFUL UNIVESITY CAMPUS AND HOMEY

In a nutshell
Nice college town to live in for a few years...but not forever
Friendly owners, and staff, food is fresh and of the highest quality. The chef, Vinnie, was trained in New England and cooked in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina. Spicy and mouth watering good food.
Favorite Dish: The eggplant parmigiana is my favorite but everything, that we have eaten, is fabulous.

Holy crap this stuff is good!!! This is by far the best Mexican food I have had (in the USA that is). Just too bad this resturant is in a small East Texas town - it is not excatly convinient to just drop by!
Favorite Dish: They have the BEST tortillas - they make them while you wait.

Have a juicy steak or some huge shrimp whatever your craving, or go and sing some karaoke and have a beer, great place to eat and drink, very laid back atmosphere
Favorite Dish: I personally like their fried shrimp and a baked potato, the shrimp are huge and while you are their try a nice glass of wine.

Avoid the numerous native Nacogdoches people who "want a ride" or "need some spare change for gas". Most (not all!) of them are minorities and it goes for drug money. The money's not the issue -- they're simply ungrateful & want to know if you have even more. If you do choose to give them $5 to get them off your back, DO NOT give them rides anywhere. There is an extremely inexpensive public transportation system in place.
