BlackHawk Golf Course is located in Pflugerville, however I would not recommend this be the key reason for a visit. I am not too impressed with the conditions of the course, however the price is right. Normally with a little discussion, you can get the greens fees down to about 27 dollars a round, which makes it a fine way to entertain yourself for four hours.
Equipment: Bring your own clubs, as the pro shops selection is limited.

Although this is actually just out of Pflugerville proper, we are still going to count it. Star Ranch is a very nice course to play, and I would recommend paying the money to play here rather than your other Pflugerville options.
Weekday rates are very reasonable!

Many of you reading this may think that the word football, and the traditions associated with that are with the round white ball with black dots.
Well, in America we refer to that as soccer, which every fall takes a back seat here to American Football. American Football is a tradition in Texas, where we start children playing as early as 5 and 6 yrs of age.
The culmination of that effort is displayed proudly in Pflugerville at the very successful Pflugerville High School. The Pflugerville Panthers have been in existence for many years.
Pflugerville received national recognition when the Pflugerville Panthers won 55 consecutive football games (1958-1962). A large sign was placed across from the school which read as follows:
Home of National Schoolboy Football Champions 55 Consecutive Games Won
This is still a Texas record.
