Pflugerville is not a rowdy town by any stretch of the imagination. One of the reasons for this is an excellent police force, the Pflugerville PD. It seems to me that Pflugerville has more police officers per capita than many other sub-urban communities, but I may be wrong.
The Pflugerville PD is very effective, because for some traffic locations, they actually have a dummy seated in the car, so that other officers can protect the peace in other locations. Also, the PD holds itself to high standards for response time, especially for noise disturbances, and cats in trees!

If you decide to travel into Pflugerville on 685 (Dessau Rd.), please follow the POSTED speed limit. You will quickly learn that it is 50 m.p.h.
Yes, I agree that for a 4 lane, divided highway road, 50 is not correct, but somehow that is not a plausible excuse to the Pflugerville PD nor the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Now that you have been officially warned, "Welcome to Pflugerville!"
