The Aerodrome is a lovely skating rink that is located less than a 2 minute walk from where I live. It's right opposite the mall.. This is the official rink for the Houston Aeros.. They have regular skating hours for general public, and then you can sign up for classes.. They even teach ice-hockey.. You can plan a kids birthday party here..I've seen some people do that.

The Sweetwater Country Club is a prominent member of the Sugar Land community. It is one of the most expensive clubs in the Houston area.

Good family style Italian food. Unlike Carabba's or Corelli's, it's not always packed. They'll take call ahead for a party of 5 or more, but it often isn't necessary.

Favorite Dish: I loved the steak. I don't get to eat steak very often. My son liked the Fettucine Alfredo.

Nice ambience, not crowded. Hope this place lasts. Pleasant staff.

Favorite Dish: Penang shrimp is excellent as are several of the chicken dishes. More I'm sure, but haven't tried much else yet. The Crab Rangoon is my son's favorite.

This is a sweet and snack shop, but it also makes vegetarian entrees like Saag Paneer, Pilau, etc. Really, really cheap. Good Samosas, Bhel Puri, etc.

Favorite Dish: Great Jalebi (Yellow and Orange, made fresh daily), only about $3.99 a pound. Don't miss the spicy Cashews (mild and spicy), cheaper than anywhere else I know of. The Sag Paneer is all right, not great, but cheap, as is the Naan at $0.50 each.
